Sessions Breakdown
Session One: Driver and Long Game Analysis
The first session of the Full Fitting focuses on your driver and long game, which includes woods, fairway woods, and hybrids. Starting with the driver, we evaluate key performance metrics such as ball speed, launch angle, spin rate, and dispersion to identify the optimal clubhead and shaft pairing. We then move to the fairway woods and hybrids, examining their role in your bag and ensuring they bridge the gap between your driver and irons effectively.
Our expert fitters have extensive knowledge of clubhead designs and their influence on performance, enabling us to recommend options that optimise distance and accuracy. During the driver and woods fitting, we also assess how different shaft materials (e.g., graphite, multi-material composites) affect your swing tempo, shot dispersion, and launch conditions. Shaft flex, weight, and torque are all key factors we consider to enhance your swing consistency.
Session Two: Irons, Wedges, and Putter Evaluation
The second session shifts focus to your mid and short game. Here, we begin by assessing your irons, checking for consistency in trajectory, distance gaps, and shot dispersion. Launch angle, spin rate, and descent angle are critical metrics that guide our recommendations for iron shafts and clubhead configurations.
For your wedges, we delve into the specifics of loft, lie angle, and bounce to ensure you have the versatility needed for various turf conditions and shot types around the green. We also address the shaft profile, as wedges often benefit from a different weight and flex to enhance control and feel.
Putter Fitting for Precision and Confidence
The Full Fitting includes an analysis of your putter, evaluating how it influences your stroke path, face angle, and roll characteristics. We consider factors such as length, lie angle, and grip size to improve your stability and consistency on the greens.
We carry an extensive range of shaft options, including:
⦁ Graphite and Composite Options: Mitsubishi, Fujikura, Graphite Design, Aldila, and Accra.
⦁ Weight Ranges: Light (50g and below), Standard (60g–80g), and Heavy (90g+).
⦁ Flex Profiles: Regular, Stiff, Extra Stiff, and Senior Flex.
Selecting the correct shaft for your swing speed and load pattern is crucial for optimising your launch conditions and distance potential.
We offer an array of shafts to suit your playing style and swing dynamics:
⦁ Steel Options: True Temper, KBS, Nippon, and Project X.
⦁ Graphite Options: UST Mamiya, Fujikura, and Mitsubishi.
⦁ Weight Categories: Light (80g and below), Standard (90g–120g), and Heavy (130g+).
Our fitting experts also evaluate the impact of shaft weight and material on your tempo and ball flight, making precise recommendations based on your performance data.
